Had to take a few days out of the cage because I had gotten a little raw in a couple of places. I caught it early enough that it wasn't too bad. After a couple of days to heal, I started wearing it again for part of the day for a few days, then longer periods (kind of like when I was first getting used to it in the first place).
Because of the sores that seem to pop up after about three weeks in, we have looked at some of the metal cages. Although expensive, I think they will make a much better long term solution.
The #2 ring broke. Going to need to replace that ring. It broke where the posts pass through to complete the ring. Due to that, I have been trying to find a way to make the #1 ring be more secure. No such luck. I can make it where the balls don't pull through the ring, but I can easily slip the rest of me out and back in rather easily. Kind of defeats the purpose.
So, for now, I am in the #3 ring again. Not exactly the most comfortable ring, but for now it's the best thing I have.
Something I did notice when the cage was off is: my sex drive went through the roof. I wanted to jump on my wife and ride until sunrise every night. Even though I hadn't fully healed, I felt that I really needed to get back into the cage if only over night.
A Sunday morning shower with my Queen resulted in a release, and the end of a one month, one week period of celibacy. Another day, and I replaced the cage once again. I do remove it after my shower and ensure that the area is dry and free from any irritation before reapplying the device.
