Pros and cons to each cage.

CB6000s

Pros:

Tucks neatly under most clothing. Virtually unnoticeable even in tighter street clothes.

Comfortable. Once the correct ring and pin is selected, you all but forget that it's there.

Cons:

Hygiene is more particular. Areas that are difficult to get to do not clean as easily, and parts that are completely covered do not dry out. This leaves the skin moist all the time and softens the skin to the point that it is easily abraded.
----

CB-Curve

Pros:

For the average guy, it is much more comfortable due to its size and length. The same applies to ring size and pin length as far as overall comfort.

The more open design of the cage portion allows for more thorough cleaning and drying which helps protect the skin.

Cons:

The biggest drawback to the Curve is also its biggest asset.... Size. While it may be more comfortable to wear along with being easier to maintain cleanliness, it doesn't mask very well under tighter clothes.

Both units lend themselves to what I call "lock knock". Vigorous activities and certain movements can cause the lock to bang against the cage. This noise may be more perceived to the wearer than noticed by others. This can be easily addressed by using one of those elastic bands that ladies use to pull their hair back. Double the band over the cage and pull it up over the lock. No more lock bounce, and not noticeable to the wearer.
The thickness and width of the rings is an unavoidable consequence. Because of the material used (acrylic) the rings have to be considerably larger than the metal counterparts. In my opinion, the ring is the least comfortable part of the whole set up.

Manual transmissions and the CB-6000s

How I have managed to make as many entries as I have so far, and not mention driving is beyond me, but here goes...

There are times when it is down right miserable. Like when your nuts are swollen and nothing you do will relieve the pressure.

Other times, it's not too bad, so long as everything is adjusted right.

Automatics aren't so bad since there is no clutch pedal. Mashing that pedal to the floor, effectively mashes your stones.

Tuesday, August 19th 2014

Just a little over two weeks straight now.

I changed out the cage yesterday morning, and didn't swap back into the Curve when I got home. Like I have experienced with the other two rings, the first few nights are pretty restless, and by morning, my balls are so swollen that it is uncomfortable to move. Not painful, but very tender. After being up for a while, the pressure tends to bleed off. By the time I get to work, everything should be fine.

I have been up for about an hour and a half, and while everything is still tight, it isn't painful any more. By first break, everything should be loose and comfortable.

Now for the not so pleasant bit. After two weeks without a physical release, be it sex or masturbation, I am experiencing a marked increase in discharge. There is the normal amount of male lubrication (pre-cum) that occurs when a guy is aroused for some time, then there is what I have noticed. Let's just say (for the sake of not being disgusting)... Considerable.

One more thing to mention: a small padlock is by far the most secure way to ensure that everything stays put. However, you may want to keep some things in your front pockets that can rattle around a little, or find some way to silence the lock. It will bang around a bit, and while you may not feel it bang around so much, it will make a little noise. Now in the production environment that I work in, that isn't really all that bad, and I have a bunch of rattley things on my belt, so the little bit of noise that it makes isn't even noticed there. On the other hand, in a quieter environment, such as an office or church, the sound may wind up drawing some unwanted attention. Thus the knick-knacks in your pocket.

Sunday, August 17th 2014

Just created this blog and updated it with previous entries made on my phone. I will be going back to edit and clean up the posts later (translation from stock phone application to this didn't translate very well in some cases).

Today marks two full weeks locked in. We have been changing out rings and cages over the last few days, but that is mainly due to trying to "train" everything into the next smallest ring. The third ring in the series is just a little too small for sleeping, but once I am active, the pressures seem to diminish as the morning goes on. By the time I make it to work, everything is about as "normal" as things are going to get.

What we have been doing is: I will go to work with the second largest ring and the 6000s cage. When I get home, I will shower and clean up, then wait for her to get home (on the days she doesn't work from home). Then she will give me the key and permission to remove that set-up and change to the next smaller ring and the Curve. That will stay in place until bedtime, when we swap the ring back out for the larger size up. In the morning, back into the 6000s I go, and off to work. I think it is time to change the cage and ring out to the smaller ring and 6000s for work, and sleep in the larger ring. May just have to do that tomorrow and see how that goes.

Just for reference, here are the ring sizes:

#1 - 2"
#2 - 1 7/8"
#3 - 1 3/4"
#4 - 1 5/8"
#5 - 1 1/2"

I still find it amazing that 1/8th of an inch can make a significant difference in the way everything fits and feels. From the rings to the pins, which also get shorter by 1/8th inch increments with 1 1/4" being the longest, to 1" being the shortest. That 1/8th of an inch can also mean the difference of staying put in the cage, or the boys being able to pull through at very inconvenient times, and most often quite uncomfortably. I had such a moment at work the other morning. Rather aggravating too, since I had had a key for just such a reason for the last few weeks. In case it came off during the work day, I had carried the extra key so that I could take the unit apart and get back into it. I had gone a couple of weeks without a pull through, so I returned the key to my wife so that she may have the full control. That next morning, I pulled.

A little back story to enlighten why and how we have come to this point. I have had interest in chastity for many years. It started off as a female chastity curiosity from something I saw in a touristy museum as a kid. When I got older, I learned that many of the devices found in those museums were generally made up and never really existed in the eras that they were claimed to be from, excepting for the ones designed to be a torture device.

A little more research turned up that the majority of chastity devices were designed not to keep the woman chaste, but to keep the man chaste. This is where the interest went from spark to fire. Suddenly, I find myself reading more and more about the devices and learning how they worked. I knew then that I needed to experience such a device if for nothing more than to feel it. The cost of these items were the most prohibitive part of it all.

My wife was able to come into a CB-Curve through a trade with a friend of hers. Now, my original thought was that it could be a fun toy to be used from time to time to add another facet to our sex life. However, knowing my bride as I do, I also knew that if it didn't become at least semi-permanent for a short period, that it would wind up in the bottom of our toy box and never get used. It would be a tragic waste of money. What I figured would be a week on, week off, week on, week off routine, quickly has become nearly 24/7 with very little break in the off times.

In all honesty, part of me likes the fact that she holds the keys. Another part of me just wants to jerk off once in a while, as well as have sex. Now, I don't have that option, and it is exciting, humbling, and frustrating, all at the same time.

All the more reason to "graduate" to a more permanent device. One of the phrases tossed around in the chastity community is: "If it ain't steel, it ain't real.", meaning that true chastity devices aren't made of leather or acrylic, but are metal and designed to be as inescapable as possible. Personally, I want one of the metal devices more for comfort than for security, and could care less about being part of some "club". Because the metal devices are more durable, the rings can be thinner, which will allow for a more comfortable fit than the acrylic which needs to be thicker for strength.

02 August 2014 CB-6000s Five days in the cage (longest thus far has been 8)and 9 since my last release. The physical pressure that has built up is pretty amazing (especially in the mornings. Much of which I attribute to being a stomach sleeper.). I haven't gone this long without taking matters into my own hands since I was fifteen. I am currently in the third ring of the five ring set, graduating down as things stretch and become loose enough to pull through the cage. I plan to stay on top of it to keep from pulling through as the pain associated with it has grown more intense each time. I can't really speak to my mental or emotional state. I honestly don't see much of a change there. There is the frustration associated with not being able to touch myself. What does seem to help is that so far she hasn't taken too much advantage of teasing and torturing me just yet. I'm looking forward to when she does, but perhaps she is still giving me an opportunity to grow accustomed to the cage before she does. Or maybe it's her that needs to grow accustomed to it?

Tuesday, July 29 2014 CB-6000s Yesterday morning I had an almost knee buckling pull through first thing in the morning. Happened as I was walking into work. For the first few hours, I remained uncaged. Lunchtime found me able to get back into my device, where I remained until I returned home. Last night after my shower, I fitted myself with the next ring size down and the longest pin. After a few minutes, I had almost forgotten that it was on. We'll see how it works out at work today. I have noticed that my mind is a lot quieter when it's on than it is when it isn't. And much more than before we began this journey/experiment.

18 July 2014 CB-6000s Early this week (Sunday or Monday) I noticed that I was getting incredibly itchy. I found it odd because I am very conscious of hygiene. We decided to remove the device to investigate the reason why. This is when I noticed a little bit of irritation on the shaft. A couple of days of rest were in order. Still don't know if the irritation was a reaction to the silicone lubricant, or if the area was just never permitted to dry properly since it had been eight straight days (sweating and showering). The new plan is to remove daily (the 6000s doesn't provide as much circulation as the Curve does) for hygiene purposes and then back in. I still love it when she puts the loc back on. I can't explain the feeling like I can with bondage. When I have been bound (really has been a long time), I feel vulnerable and helpless. Contrary to how that sounds, it is really quite comforting. I am allowed to focus on me, and not be the pointy end of the spear for a while. My unbound personality is the protector. The front line of defense. The one thing that stands between my family and whatever may cause them harm. When she puts the lock back into the cage and clicks it closed there is a feeling of suspense that goes with it. When am I going to be let out for release? Is there going to be a release? How am I going to be allowed to have that release? I find myself craving her touch or touching her more. She has never been a very touchy-feely kind of person, so most intimacy has been initiated by me over the years. I find that I don't look for sex so much as I do just touching her body or her touching mine. I do look forward to her doing something though.
